How fast are the alerts?
Upwork Scout scans continuously (roughly every 15 minutes) and emails matching jobs the moment they're stored — so you're applying while most freelancers haven't seen the post yet. Upwork's own saved-search emails arrive at most once a day.
What can I filter by?
Everything Upwork search offers (boolean keywords, budget, experience level, project length, job type) plus the filters it doesn't: client lifetime spend, client rating, past hires, payment verification, proposal count, already-hired jobs, and country include/exclude lists.
How does the AI matching work?
You describe yourself once — skills, experience, what you want, your minimum rate (or paste your Upwork profile and AI fills it in). Every job that passes your filters is then scored 0–100 against your profile, with a one-line reason. Jobs below your threshold never reach your inbox.
Is this against Upwork's rules?
Upwork Scout reads publicly visible job listings to notify you — you still apply normally through Upwork with your own account. It never logs into Upwork for you, auto-applies, or automates your account.
How much does it cost?
There's a free tier — up to 3 categories, 15 alert emails a day, and daily AI scoring included. Paid plans with higher limits are coming; early users lock in generous limits.
Do I need a password?
